The Crafty Kennel began because of our beloved Goldendoodle, Daisy. As a school dog, Daisy quickly became a favorite among students and staff, and she was almost always sporting a bandana. It became a fun tradition to create new bandanas that matched our school spirit days, holidays, and special events. Before long, friends, family, and fellow dog lovers began asking where they could get one for their own pups. That's when the "Daisy Dana" was born! What started as a simple way to dress up one special dog has grown into The Crafty Kennel, where we proudly share our handmade creations at the Burleson Farmers Market. Today, we offer not only our signature reversible cotton pet bandanas, but also handmade collar ties and other fun accessories designed to help pets show off their unique personalities in style.
Meet the Staff of The Crafty Kennel
Tiffany Richards – Founder & CEO
Teacher by day and Crafty Kennel CEO by night (and weekends!), Tiffany is the creative mind behind our handmade bandanas, collar ties, and all the fun fabrics that make tails wag. She keeps the business running while balancing life in the classroom and at the market.
Vern Richards – CFO & Director of Manufacturing
Vern handles the numbers, logistics, and helps keep production on track. Whether it's setting up at markets, managing inventory, or lending a helping hand wherever needed, he's an essential part of The Crafty Kennel team.
Mallory & Caleb – Operations Managers & Teen Workforce
From folding bandanas and packaging orders to setting up displays and helping customers at events, Mallory and Caleb are our hardworking operations team. They keep things moving and make sure every market day runs smoothly.
Daisy & Duke – Directors of Marketing
The true faces of The Crafty Kennel! Daisy, our original inspiration and beloved school dog, helped launch the idea that became our business. Duke joined the team and quickly became an expert model and customer greeter. Together, they proudly test products, model new designs, and attract plenty of smiles wherever they go.
